Wonderful
I would recommend this hotel. Near to bus station and train station. Washing machines and dryers available, which was useful. We asked for additional pillows as the bed only had one each. Other than that the room was very comfortable and a decent size for Japan. The shower was very nice and powerful. Staff were also very helpful. I would happily stay again if in Matsumoto.

Good value for money, nice
Hotel was very nice, staff was friendly enough, but they didn't really speak English. Managed with Google translate. Great place to just come to sleep at night when hiking around Matsumoto. Nothing to special.

Nice Onsen and Welcoming Staff, but Strong Cigarette Smell in Main Building
I recently stayed at this hotel and enjoyed several aspects of it. The onsen on the ground floor was a relaxing feature, and the tea area was a nice touch, offering refreshments like tea and welcome snacks at specific times, which was a great way to unwind. The room was clean, and the staff were very welcoming, making the stay pleasant.
However, there were a few downsides. The room felt a bit cramped for three people, and the main building had a strong cigarette smell, especially on every floor as soon as the elevator doors opened. Even the vending machine and microwave areas had the odor, which was quite off-putting.
